NOTICE

  1. GENERAL
    The Regional Championship shall be conducted strictly according to these rules.
  2. ELIGIBILITY
    The tournament is open to Junior Golfers (Boys/Girls) who have not reached their 19th birthday on 30th July 2022. For the proof of age only Birth Certificate issued by municipal authorities or the National Identity Card will be acceptable.

  3. FORMAT
    The tournament will be played according to the age group categories listed below:

Open / Gold division

(Separate Prizes for girls and boys, subject to minimum number of six  participants in each gender group)
  • Ages 15-18+
  • Players should not have reached their 19th birthday on 30th July 2022
  • Stroke play over 36 holes (Gross)
  • Tee Markers same for Boys and Girls as per Gender conditions as As per WAGR Rules.
  • Players from Silver, Bronze & Copper Division eligible to participate in the Open Category. 
  • If in any gender category minimum requirement of 6 players are not registered as at time of entries closing, then Silver and Gold divisions shall be amalgamated
  • Winner
  • 1st Runner Up
  • 2nd Runner Up
  • 3rd Runner Up

Silver Division

(Separate Prizes for girls and boys, subject to minimum number of six  participants in each gender group)
  • Ages 12 – 14+
  • Players should not have reached their 15th birthday on 30th July 2022
  • Stroke play over 36 holes (Gross)
  • Tee Markers same for Boys and Girls as per Gender conditions.
  • Players entered in this Division shall not be eligible for the Open Event or Gold Division
  • If in any gender category minimum requirement of 6 players are not registered as at time of entries closing, then Silver and Gold divisions shall be amalgamated.

Bronze Division
  • Ages 10-11+
  • Players should not have reached their 12th birthday on 30th July 2022
  • Stroke play over 28 holes over 2 days aggregate gross scores (14 holes on 30th Mar & 14 holes on 31st Mar)
  • Bronze Division Tee Marker same for Boys and Girls
  • Players entered in this Division shall not be eligible for the Open Event or Gold Division
  • Winner
  • 1st Runner Up
  • 2nd Runner Up
  • 3rd Runner Up

 

Copper Division

  • Ages 9+ & Under
  • Players should not have reached their 10th Birthday on 30th July 2022
  • Stroke play over 18 holes over 2 days aggregate gross scores (9 holes on 30th July & 9 holes on 31st  July)
  • Players in this age category who choose to play in Open/Gold division will not be considered for the copper division.

  1. ENTRIES
    The entry fee is Rs.2,000/-.

  2. ENTRIES CLOSE
    Entries should reach the SLGU Office by 3.00.pm on Friday 25th July 2022.
    Birth Certificates should be handed over to the SLGU representative before entries close.
