Mission

To develop local talent and facilities to meet world class standards to be recognized as a premier golfing nation

Golf Development

To Develop Golf at every level starting at grassroots.
To request land from MOS to develop training facility to improve quality of training in Golf.
To Work With the National Olympic Committee to propagate golf alongside other sports as an equally funded sport.

Course Development

To obtain R & A assistance in the training and development of Golf course maintenance agronomics and new techniques.
To obtain R & A Assistance in the training of Referees in administering the rules of Golf and quality marshals.
To improve and upgrade the appeal of aesthetics of our golf courses

Membership Development

Current membership is RCGC, NEGC, VGCR, and Eagles (Air Force)
Shangri La‘s Hambantota is the newest Associate Member.
To bring SL Army and SL Navy onboard.
We need to have all on board and SLG to be the body that will help them improve their courses and develop golf, for the enjoyment of players and members.
