Sri Lanka Navy golfer and national squad player Chalitha Pushpika carded the best score at the Ranking Tournament for the National and Emerging squads conducted by Sri Lanka Golf at the Royal Colombo Golf Course from June 28 to July 1.

Pushpika (289) had a two-stroke lead over Chanaka Perera. Uchitha Akash Ranasinghe and Vinoth Kumar finished eight and nine strokes behind the leader.

A notable score was returned by junior golfer Reshan Algama, but he did not make the cut. Taniya Balasuriya who was expected to fare well did not complete the tournament.
